::We were originally booked at another nearby hotel, but there was an overbooking situation (possibly by the 3rd party travel website). The owner of that hotel booked us a room here, which probably saved our trip. My wife and I both enjoyed our stay at Bunker Hill. I see a lot of reviewers would prefer some sterile cookie cutter chain hotel where you may as well be in Albuquerque or Chicago, but this is di Islands ! It looks worn ? Some of the buildings date back to Danish colonial days, but we saw constant maintenance & improvements being done. Our room was dated, but clean. Best of all was our experience with the people. All of the staff, and especially Eddie, were wonderful, and very helpful. I would come back in a heartbeat. Oh, if you have issues with stairs, if disabled, or bad legs, then avoid. Like the rest of Charlotte Amalie, this place is built up steeply, with lots of stairs that make for a workout!

::Awesome experience, but beware; in the islands you get what you pay for. Bunker Hill is a great value because it is in a bit of a sketchy neighborhood and is quite shabby. The staff are exceptional, but there was a roach in the bathroom (smashed the little German bugger). The restaurant is phenomenal, but the shower is claustrophic, drips, and no hot water half the time. The free breakfast is a real breakfast and perfectly cooked, but the small grocery across the street has security and will gouge tourists. My point is, stay here, but know what the trade offs are.

::Customer service was prestine! Thomas made us feel welcomed and carried our bags up several flights and even helped us with parking. Place does need some work, but we were comfortable and felt like I was at home. Breakfast was GREAT! The food at the restaurant was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Better than anything we've tasted in St Thomas! There is no elevator and parking is very limited, but it is a walk away to food and shopping. We will definitely return and look forward to see the upgrades and improvements!!

::Thomas and the staff were amazing. After a double hurricane, the hotel was in great shape. Thomas has done an incredible job making sure the perimeter is locked and safe in the evening. The view from our room was wonderful. The hotel offers a choice of 4 different "made to order" full breakfasts which were delicious. The room was clean. The location is perfect for downtown Charlotte Amallie shopping. Thomas has 7 parking spots for hotel resident rental cars and is helpful in navigating into the spot. The hotel lobby was still under renovation from the hurricane damage, but check in at the Bunker Hill Deli was just fine. I will most definitely stay there on my next trip to St. Thomas.

::La limpieza no es muy buena.Las piscinas estaban sucias. Y las paredes de las piscinas despintadas.Las plantas que adornan el hotel estaban secas,sin agua bastante feo. La comida del restaurante y el desayuno es lo unico bastante bueno...y que esta en el centro del pueblo..Deberian mejorar la apariencia del hotel.No posee elevadores,solo escaleras.
