::They had decent service from the get go, which isn't common on the island. We did have some miscommunication, but in the end they did stick to our original agreed upon price. Had battery problems with one car but they let us get something else without a hassle. Friendly people.

::Great customer service personally by the owner. We rented with this company and besides being the CHEAPEST in the island , we got great customer service by Mr. Norris the owner, he worked with us to rent the car for 2 days, drop it off for 3 days while doing tours and pick it back up for another 5 days, they really work with you on this, they also take you or pick you up from airport for FREE, cars are good with AC and all you need and they suggest you take pictures with your phone before you take the car so as a sign of honesty and not to have any misunderstandings when dropping off...highly recommended

::Great experience! First time using them, they picked us up at the airport on time, gave us a nice car - Clean and in great shape! About three days after having the car I realized I didn't need it, so I called to ask about returning it 5 days earlier and they said no problem, I brought the car back early and they only charged for the time used and then happily gave us a ride back to my hotel for free. - I travel a lot and am used to big name rental car companies and I must say this company far surpassed them in service ! ::it's such a shame that those other people had a bad experience i on the other hand had an AMAZING experience..this was my very first trip to St. Thomas and i was not familiar with any of the places to go or things to do and these people took me in like part of their own family..from the moment i arrived it's kinda what i expected from a local business..Even though it was in the heart of their busy season (and they did have some opportunistic grumpy customers who couldn't understand this) those people took the time out to accommodate each and every customer..it took some time but hey it was after all Christmas rush and these things I've learned to accept..I've traveled all over the world during Christmas season and it's actually the norm. I would most definitely recommend this business..As i would always rather choose to support local business as oppose to any of the bigger guys.

::My husband and I had a great experience with First Rent a Car and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. We've previously used two other rental companies on the island but plan to use First Rent a Car for all future trips. First, because their rates are lower than most of the other companies, but more importantly because we were super impressed at how accommodating they were. We were traveling with four large boxes that would not fit in the mid-size car that we rented, so they offered us the use of their company SUV to take the boxes to our house. And what's more, they graciously let us return it the next day to exchange for the car that we originally rented. This, all at no additional charge. That is what I call exceptional customer service! Thank you so much Cheryl and Norris, you are the best.
