  Amazing views and beautiful property. Owners were very accommodating and gracious. Very well equipped. Had everything we needed for the beach. Close to magens beach. Gorgeous point right next to the property for walking and viewing the ocean and night stars. Highly recommend this place

  My family and I spent an amazing vacation at Picara Pearl. The process to reserve our stay was super easy. Our vacation was kind of last minute, and I really appreciated the quick response as well as their website which had all the information we needed for our stay. We booked it within minutes! Our flight was delayed Christmas Eve, and we didn't arrive until late evening. However, through our text messages throughout the day, we were assured that our relaxing vacation was soon at hand. Frank and Vivian met us at the airport right on time and escorted us to their gorgeous villa by the sea. The rooms were immaculate and nicely decorated. They had kindly stocked the kitchen with food items to make sandwiches as well as drinks for which we were very grateful. It had been a long day and shops and restaurants were closed at that time. We ate our first meal right on the balcony and enjoyed the sounds of Magens Bay and the lights from the houses across the Bay sparkling prettily. It was breathtaking! That night, we slept like babies on our comfortable beds listening to the waves. The next day, Christmas, we slept late then prepared a lovely breakfast from the items our hosts had left for us. We were lounging around the villa enjoying the AMAZING VIEW when Frank called and told us that Vivian had Christmas dinner prepared, and that we were welcome to partake in the meal. Well, we didn't need to cook anything for days...what a spread! Frank brought us trays upon trays of Christmas dinner, and everything was delicious! It was such a generous and totally unexpected gesture. The rest of our vacation was spent relaxing in the sun, sand, and water at Magens Bay Beach. We also enjoyed walking to a secluded beach a little closer. Vivian said that some people use it as a nude beach. However, we took our son with us and everyone was clothed. LOL! Some mornings we took the very brief walk to Picara Point. It was so nice that it was so close by. I can really see why everyone loves this Point. What a view! Vivian said that sometimes couples get married at the Point. I wish we'd had an opportunity to see a wedding there. While we were at the villa, our son kept himself busy using the Wifi. We enjoyed the island breeze day and night and hardly used the a/c. My husband and I have traveled all over, and I have to say it was absolutely one of the best vacations we've ever had. We wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Our son can't stop talking about it. We'll definitely be back!

  My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to be the first guests at these brand new suites at the tip of the Peterborg Peninsula. Situated right on the water overlooking Magen's Bay, the views are truly incredible, and the sounds of the water will lull you into relaxation! Walk right out your door to the rocky point at the end of the peninsula and enjoy a beautiful sunset, or watch it from your balcony. The homes across the bay light up after dark providing an enchanting evening view-- a nice surprise our first night! The area is very private and peaceful, and the cozy 1 bdrm suite has everything you need to feel at home. The hosts, Vivian and Franklin, are a wonderful, local retired couple who love welcoming guests and really go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay--Vivian even made us homemade tea and chicken soup when we got sick! Overall a great place to stay and highly recommended!!
