  My wife and I stayed at Great Expectations in lieu of our yearly 2 week visit to Sandcastle on Jost van Dyke. Our stay was fantastic. The new owners (Carrie and Steve) worked hard to ensure that we would have a great experience. They were very responsive in as we planned our stay, helpful with suggestions related to day trips, Jeep rental, etc. The villa is wonderful. It is well maintained, has lush landscaping, and a convenient layout. The bedroom suites are airy, spacious, and private. The large central Great Room and patio area work well for group activities. The pool is great for relaxing after a hard day at the beach. The views, especially at sunrise and sunset, are breath taking. (The rainbow picture below was taken after a brief afternoon shower.) Great Expectations is a very special place!

  Bellissima posizione e molto bella anche la struttura, tutti gli ambienti sono ben organizza i e non manca proprio nulla, la vasca esterna idromassaggio era una vera chicca una volta tornati dalla spiaggia. La responsabile che ci ha accolti è stata molto gentile e disponibile e sempre collaborativa. La vista poi è stupenda, si è circondati dal mare e ogni sera il tramonto regala tramonti mozzafiato.

  We stayed at Great Expectations last week to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. There were a total of 19 of us, including grandparents, adult siblings and children. We planned the trip about a year in advance and I spent many hours reading reviews, looking at the website and every picture I could find. I am pleased to say that the villa is exactly as it looks - which is amazing! Everything was just so beautiful and our large group had plenty of space. What a treat to have every family have their own bedrooms (total of 8) with their own individual bathrooms! The pool was super clean, warm and with a breathtaking view. We spent every morning at the beaches and all afternoons & evenings in the pool. We had such a nice time. Every person said how wonderful the trip was and the villa provided the perfect home base for everyone. It was a very special trip for all of us and we will cherish the memories and time there.

  Great place to share time with friends each with private space or the great room for cocktails and great views. Find the path to the beach and come home with a great find in addition to fond memories.
