::Wow spent my day off on the beach in St John. Took the ferry back to St Thomas and found... An Indian restaurant of course! My second favorite food after Thai. I love Thali platters. All the little tastes, yum. The name of this place is...Thali! I had the lobster Curry! What lobster and curry? Oh my! It was heavenly! The lobster was swimming this morning or crawling, whatever.the curry was just the right heat. Oh did I mention Bollywood videos. The perfect end to my day off! Three more shifts in the ER then back to Chattanooga for a well deserved three month rest. Unless they tempt me with another tropical paradise.

::Surprisingly good Indian food on a Caribbean island. Service was attentive and fast. Beautiful Turkish lights hanging from the ceilings. Beware if you sit outside - trucks spewing exhaust will ruin the mood.

::The food is good but the service was mediocre. The vibe is awesome, and the red hook view is amazing. I would recommend outside seating. The bar is very cool looking. I'll be back for a drink and desert.

::I am very excited to have a new and authentic dining option on St. Thomas. The food was refreshing, flavorful, and the spices werent overpowering. I loved the decor and laid back atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor patio dining. The owners are very personable and appear to be genuinely striving to secure and train a diverse, competent staff. (A FOH manager, expediter, and host would be excellent additions to streamline and enhance service.) We are definitely planing to dine with them again soon.

::Was really looking forward to this restaurant as there is very little descent food on this island. The portions were tiny and the desssert was so small for two people we finally complained. The owner came out with a tiny extra slab of a mouse ( still unacceptable for two people) and said " people make mistakes ". Typical crappy customer service that St Thomas is famous for. The tiny portions of overpriced food tasted great, spices were excellent but part of the sampler was burned and they served it anyway. The samoas were a disappointment with almost no filling, so you pay $15 for fried dough. Another rip off that they think they can get away with. We spent $79 on dinner (3 glasses of wine, also not a full pour) and left hungry. Another disappointing dining experience on this rock. They need to step it up and the owner needs an attitude check. Until they make these changes we won't be back.
