  I experienced mobility limitations which caused me excruciating pain. I am pleased with the significant improvement I have enjoyed under the professional and rewarding care of Bonnie Orouke Barr and her team.   Not many people you meet are familiar with Guillain Barre Syndrome. (GBS) Simply put, this is a neurological disorder that affects the peripheral nervous system - in my case causing bilateral paralysis. The pain has been indescribable. I am now in month 11. Four hospitals and four physical therapists later, I had almost reached a point of resigning myself to the facts of immobility and never being pain free again. St. Thomas is our second home. In November, of this year, I wondered if I would be able to make the 2,200 mile trek back to St. Thomas - I thought to myself, just one more time. It occurred to me that my Lord might direct me to someone special who could help me. I scoured the Internet and discovered Synergy - which unknown to me, would become the beginning of my recovery. The treatment I have received has been far superior to that of any other. At Synergy there’s a very special sense of sincerity and compassion combined with spot on therapy techniques that can only be learned and applied through the highest levels of experience. My journey with GBS is not over, but strides of progress are being made. I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you, Synergy, for all you do. TN

  I had a great experience at Synergy. I had a trapped nerve in my shoulder for almost 2 months which no-one had been able to help me with on Tortola. I came over and saw Adrienne and she fixed me in one session. I have recommended her to several people since.
